Wayne Choponis has been a member of the Nutana Lions Club for over 42 years and has been involved in the Hospitality Service industry for 50 years.  He enjoys his role as a Lions Club member, raising money and giving of his time to support community projects and provide services.  The four Lions Clubs in Saskatoon have been involved in supporting many projects over the years; Lions Arena, CNIB, the Skatepark, Lions Event Pavilion at the Forestry Farm Park and Zoo, and the Lions Century Park, a new and accessible park and recreation area in Kensington.  The Lions Club motto of “We Serve” represents Wayne’s belief that he is part of a team giving back to community.  Wayne has devoted his life to serving others and wouldn’t have it any other way!  He puts the needs of others first and is happy to do whatever he can to make our community a better place.
