New Release: Congratulations to Ann Barlas, Recipient of the Saskatoon-Grasswood Canada 150 Award!

Ann Barlas is known in the Greek community as a pioneer for Greek culture and diversity.  Ann is one of the first ladies to teach dance to many and participate in various cultural festivals in the city and beyond.  She is a woman of compassion and has been an active volunteer in the Saskatoon community for more than 30 years.  Ann volunteers in the emergency room of the Royal University Hospital, reflecting her traits of kindness, compassion and love for the community.  Her selfless commitment towards the denizens of the City of Saskatoon has helped to promote the core values of cross-cultural development.  Ann is a member of the Greek Orthodox Ladies Philoptochos Society, where she helps to promote charitable, benevolent and philanthropic outreach services to help the poor, destitute, hungry and underprivileged sections of the community.  Thank you Ann for being a great leader in our community!
